What is Clincor?

Clincor is an ordering platform developed by Akesa to support On-Demand Site Sourcing for clinical trials. Designed for just-in-time workflows, it integrates directly with the wholesale network to deliver products as early as the next business day – minimising the need for bulk orders at site level.

When should I place an order?

Clincor is intended to support just-in-time ordering. While most products are delivered the next business day, we recommend placing orders no more than one week in advance. This allows flexibility for any changes to patient scheduling.

How is the product delivered?

Orders placed through Clincor are fulfilled via the wholesale network and are generally delivered the next business day.

How do I identify a Clincor order?

Clincor orders are packaged separately from other wholesale orders. The packing slip and delivery label will clearly reference Clincor by name and include the Clincor order number.

What products can I order?

Only products approved for the relevant clinical trial protocol will be available to order in Clincor. If a product is not visible in the system, it cannot be ordered.

Are products labelled for clinical trial use?

No. Products supplied through Clincor are commercial pharmaceutical products sourced via wholesalers (state-based) or distributors (3PL providers of the MAH). They are not pre-labelled for clinical trial use. Labelling occurs at the clinical trial site pharmacy.

Who needs access to Clincor

Only staff who place orders require a Clincor account. To maintain auditability and governance, all users must be named accounts. Shared inboxes cannot be added as system users.

Can a shared inbox receive notifications?

Yes. While a shared inbox cannot be a Clincor user, it can be configured to receive all order notifications for the site.

How is the product and service invoiced?

Akesa issues invoices monthly to the Sponsor or their nominated representative (such as a CRO or contracted vendor). Sites are not invoiced directly for orders placed through Clincor.

Support when you need it

The Clincor support team provides a single point of contact for all platform-related enquiries. This includes system access, troubleshooting, and technical issues. All support requests are triaged and managed according to issue severity, with escalation processes in place to ensure prompt resolution of critical incidents.
